From a well-fitted sports bra or t-shirt to yoga pants, you need to dress the look so you can comfortably stretch and get your fix of fitness from each session.
Avoid Taking a Class on a Full Stomach
Like any other fitness regime, even with yoga, you need to avoid doing it on a full stomach. That is probably the last thing that you want to do. Since you are going to twist and stretch your body during the yoga session, we’d always recommend that you eat something light or eat at least an hour before you are about to start doing your yoga so your body has enough time to digest the food instead of regurgitating it.
Release the Tension
Yoga is all about mind and physical fitness, which means that not just for your physical health; you can also do yoga to bring some peace to your mind. And, the best way to do so is by avoiding constant clenching of your fists and jaw. As a beginner, it is very common for you to do the same, however, your yoga instructor will suggest otherwise and the more you get into the hang of it, the easier it becomes for you to master the moves.
Breathe in and Out
Breathing through each yoga pose is extremely important. This is what brings your mind peace and cleanses your body as you are stretching your body. The deeper your breaths, the more relaxed you will feel by the end of the day. If you find yourself getting distracted, try to breathe deeply in and out to concentrate at the moment.
Ask Your Instructor
Yoga poses often seem easy to do but as a beginner, there are chances that you might be doing things wrong. And, if you feel like you are doing a pose wrong, it is always better that you consult your trainer about the same.
