Rinku Singh is an Indian cricketer who has played for Uttar Pradesh and Central Zone in domestic cricket. He has played for Punjab Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders in different seasons of the Indian Premier League (IPL). He became popular after hitting 5 consecutive sixes in an IPL match. In November 2023, Singh was named in India’s squad for their 2023–24 tour of South Africa. On 19 December 2023, he made his One Day International (ODI) debut against South Africa. He is the first player from Aligarh to play in IPL. Rinku earned the spotlight after he hit five consecutive sixes to Yash Dayal‘s final over to help KKR beat Gujarat Titans (GT) in an IPL 2023 match; KKR needed 28 off the final five balls.
